Oh no. If RE wasn't gonna be bad enough.

I think, but could be wrong, that Netflix saw the success of The Witcher and thought “let’s do more video game TV shows”. Not realising that The Witcher isn’t a video game show.

The show is based on the books and the games are even themselves removed from the books.

A TV show using books as the source material will always work infinitely better than a show using video games as the source because books, like moves and TV, are passive mediums. Games, are an active medium and when you turn them into a movie or show you remove their one most important aspect.

Well, they have also made this show called Castlevania, you might have heard of it. And they are also working on a series on Resident Evil.

Yeah I know they’re making RE too and did Castlevania. I didn’t mean to imply AC was their only video game venture.

I’d like for AC and RE to be good, I just don’t have high expectations. That and Netflix likes to cancel a lot after 1 or 2 seasons.

Yeah I know they’re making RE too and did Castlevania.

I know that even multi-billion dollar companies have idiots working on them. But at least one person there will know that The Witcher was adapted from the books and that the books were made famous worldwide because of the games.

That and Netflix likes to cancel a lot after 1 or 2 seasons.

That part really sucks Sad

I hope it's good. Assassin's Creed is my favorite non-nintendo series.

Did you get to see the mini-series with Ezio's dad? It was a lot of fun Smile
I also hope this is good

Haha I always thought Assassin's Creed would make a better series than a video game so yeah. Appropriate.
