Georifters now 33% off, new Accolades and Hero trailers released

Georifters has been on the Switch eShop for a bit now, but today might be the day to hop in. The game is seeing a temporary price drop to $20 from $30. Need some more convincing? Check out the trailer above, along with gameplay details in the press release below.

Taipei-based indie developer Busy Toaster Games and video game publisher Leoful, from today, are having a ground bending 33% off sale for their terrain bending adventure Georifters. For two weeks, until the 10th of November, Georifters will be available from the North American eShop for $19.99 (down from $29.99) and the Hong Kong eShop for HKD154 (down from HKD230). Be sure to not let it slip away and grab it while you can!

In conjunction with the sale the Georifters Accolades trailer has gone live showing off all the lovely things the press has to say about this manic world colliding adventure.

Also recently released are the last of the hero trailers introducing the remaining two characters, Cranks and Dr. Schnoz, who you’ll come across in the chaotic world of Georifters. Here are their bios and trailers.

Cranks completed his Ph.D in Advanced Plant Biochemistry but has decided to pursue his passion for repairing toasters and kitchen appliances. Any spare time he has is spent as an amateur nuclear physicist. Take your opponents on a merry-go-round as you spin and twist your way to victory.

Dr. Schnoz is all about finding the ideal smell combinations while removing smells that “don’t belong”. He is frequently seen collecting samples for his experiments with the machine he calls the “Schnozinator” which can also be used to tear apart blocks and his enemies while racing to collect as many gems as possible.

Georifters is a platform manipulating adventure game where players must push, flip, twist or turn the terrain to overcome challenges and battle competitors in hundreds of stages in single-player, co-op or multiplayer modes.

In the Georifters’ story mode, you play as Candy as she navigates the six bubble worlds (each inspired by one of the human senses) all currently destabilizing due to a threat to each of their existence. Candy must tactically manipulate platforms to defeat the havoc inciting creatures that have been unleashed.

These six fantastical worlds consist of 30+ levels with 300+ stages, with seven different heroes to discover along the way, each with their own individual special way of manipulating the terrain. Use these skills to unearth hidden items, unlock power ups to upgrade your champions’ unique abilities and customise their look with over 50 different costume combinations to choose from.

The digital version of Georifters is available on Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong for $29.99 / £27.50 / €31.90.

The physical edition of Georifters, which includes exclusive Pro Gamer Candy skin parts on the Game Card, will launch first in Hong Kong and Taiwan on September 18th, 2020, followed by Southeast Asia on October 2nd, 2020.
