We knew this was going to happen, but now we have an official confirmation. Last fiscal report from Nintendo, the Switch had just missed out on surpassing the NES total install base, which sat at 61.91 million units worldwide. With tonight's financial report, Switch has blown past the NES, reaching 68.30 million units. As far as consoles go, the only one left to beat is the Wii, which sits at 101.63 million units sold. When it comes to portables, the next total to tackle is the 3DS, which amassed 75.94 million units sold.
