Nintendo suffered from some serious Switch stock issues for a large portion of the year, thanks to production issues due the pandemic. Things have been slowly recovering, but now it seems things are back to normal. This was confirmed by Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa in a conference call following their fiscal results. You can see his statement below.

“The Switch hardware momentum remains strong, and we think that’s because production has recovered so customers who were previously unable to find a Switch on store shelves are now able to. The Switch production situation has now completely recovered and we have no issues with that.”
