Capcom has no plans to bring the original Monster Hunter Stories to Switch
A story left to the past
Capcom gave Switch owners quite a surprise by revealing Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin for Switch. There were rumors of another mainline Monster Hunter game, but no one saw a successor to Monster Hunter Stories on the way. While the sequel is certainly very welcome on Switch, it seems the original is staying on 3DS. Gamereactor spoke to Capcom's Ryozo Tsujimoto about the chances of the original game hitting Switch, and he was very straightforward in his answer.
"There are no plans at the moment to bring the original Monster Hunter Stories to the Nintendo Switch"
