Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has turned out to be quite the hit for developer Edelweiss. About a month ago, the game had already surpassed 500k units worldwide. There's no doubt thousands more have checked out the game since then, pushing sales totals closer to that million mark.

After the resounding success, should we expect a sequel? The game's director spoke to NintendoEverything and had this to share.

“True, once I finish making a game I don’t feel like making anything similar to it for a while. But this time we’ve received such a positive reaction from our players that I’d like to think we could do something. I suppose it depends on what kind of ideas we come up with, although I don’t have anything in mind at the moment.”
