Animal Crossing: New Horizons sells over 800k physical copies in the UK in 2020
One of the biggest hits of the year
We've talked a great deal about Switch hardware and software sales in the UK, but we rare get actual figures. Today that changes, as a final number for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has come in.
According to the Entertainment Retailers Association, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the 6th best-selling physical release in the UK for 2020. The game managed to move 810,462 units during the course of the year, landing it firmly in the top 10. It's important to note that every other game in the top 10 shows a sales figure with digital and retail units combined. The number for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is physical only.
