Pokemon GO pulls in $1.92 billion in revenue for 2020

Making BANK

Last we heard about Pokemon GO's revenue was back on Dec. 15th of last year. At that time, we heard the game had pulled in roughly $1.2 billion. Now the final numbers have been crunched, and the final total for 2020 is considerably higher.

According to SuperData, Niantic and Pokemon Co. had a fantastic year. Pokemon GO apparently pulled in $1.92 billion in revenue by the time the year closed out. It's unclear if earlier reporting was a bit off, or the game really saw a huge revenue boost in the last couple of weeks of 2020. Either way, all parties involved must be very happy with how impressive the game continues to be.

Wow people barely left the house this year and yet this game remains a cash cow for the pokemon company.

Niantic, and even Pokemon Co., don’t need to do anything for years and just maintain Pokemon Go and still make bank.

Last part of that money for a galaran mr mime probably lol

They made it a lot easier to play from home once the pandemic hit. They said their remote Go Fest was one of their biggest weekends profit wise in years. For all the hate they get they were smart to add these enhancements, I just hope they don't take them all away after things are normal again.
