GN Version 5.0

As we shared earlier today, Roger Craig Smith is hanging up his red-and-white shoes. RCS will no longer be providing the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, leaving fans wondering who'll step up. While SEGA is yet to share any info on that side of things, they did release a statement on Smith's departure.

Roger Craig Smith’s portrayal of Sonic the Hedgehog is one that fans are sure to remember for generations to come. He brought the character to life in a truly authentic way, with Sonic’s signature attitude and flair, and we’ll always be thankful to Roger for his contribution to the franchise.

Again, fans are most hungry to find out why Smith left the role and who will be filling the shoes. Hopefully we get that information in the near future.
