The Kickstarter for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes was a massive success, bringing in over $4.5 million when all was said and done. That funding includes a release for Nintendo fans, but we're not quite sure what platform it'll be on. The dev team said they'll bring it to Switch if that's a viable platform at time of release, or they'll support Nintendo's next piece of hardware with the game if that makes more sense. Either way, Nintendo followers will get a chance to enjoy the game.

While the game's release is still a ways off, we now know who'll be handling publishing duties. 505 Games has confirmed that they've picked the title up, so distribution is now up to them. Studio lead Yoshitaka Murayama shared a few words on the publishing deal, which you can read below.

“We have dreamed of developing a game for genre fans for many years which also celebrates everything we love and have learned as game designers. Our team is looking forward to working with 505 Games to bring Eiyuden Chronicle to as many fans around the world as possible.

Eiyuden Chronicle is both a throwback to the classic RPG games that have entertained millions and a modern, exciting tale of discovery and adventure featuring a cast of hundreds of fully realized characters. Given their success and history with titles like Bloodstained and Death Stranding, and with the strong personal relationship we have developed with the people there, we feel we have the perfect partner in 505 Games.”
