Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sells out on Amazon Japan following Pyra/Mythra's reveal for Smash Bros. Ultimate
Japan is really feeling it!
Smash Bros. Ultimate isn't just a fighting game for Nintendo. It's a great marketing tool for other franchises. Smash's roster helps spread the word on games players might not otherwise know about. We've seen it boost the sales of related games before, and it appears to be happening once again.
During last week's Nintendo Direct, Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were revealed for Smash Bros. Ultimate. A few days later, Amazon Japan has completely sold out of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. There's no doubt the two are related, and you can bet Nintendo is happy about the results. Let's hope some new stock hits Amazon Japan soon!
