Reggie recently spoke with CNET about the Wii, and what the the future holds. Some discussion of Wii channels came up, in which Reggie said that more are on the way, and some many look like games while others may not. He also mentioned that there are no plans to bring the TV Guide channel to NA, simply because there is no need for it.

Reggie also discussed the supply and demand issues with the Wii. He makes the point to say that the new crowd they are reaching (40-50 year olds) aren’t going to sleep outside stores or visit multiple retailers to find a unit. If they can’t get enough systems on store shelves, that is a missed opportunity.

One of the most interesting bits of info is when Reggie says that two weeks ago Nintendo had its best week ever. He followed that up by saying that the sales from the week after beat that record.
