- includes Oranguru and Passimian with their Hidden Abilities of Symbiosis and Defiant respectively
- Passimian has the moves Close Combat, U-turn, Knock Off a and Gunk Shot
- Oranguru has the moves Instruct, Foul Play, Trick Room and Ally Switch
- these all have your OT/ID and have no special moves
- they can be picked up from the Pokémon Center after receiving them on Bank
- currently unknown when this distribution will end

Pokemon Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon - Special Battle Season 15 rules revealed

Time to get ready for battle, Pokemon trainers. The rules for Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon Special Battle Season 15 are now available. Get the full scoop below.

- Season 15 will run from April 2nd through June 17th, 2019
- this Season runs on Sun & Moon and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- rankings for the games are separate from one another
- only allows Pokémon that can only have the move Metronome across all generations
- this rule excludes Mewtwo, Dusclops and Dusknoir)
- single battle type

Pokemon Co. has revealed the first official details for the upcoming Pokemon Japan Championships 2019. Check out the full rundown of info below!

- the Championships will run on June 8th/9th in the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center in Chiba City, Japan
- June 8th are the qualifiers for each league
- June 9th's battles are the main battles for those who got through Day 1
- the VGC competition runs Ultra Series VGC 2019 rules
- entry is only possible through ranking highly in the Japan Championships Qualifier Online Competition next month
- TCG event rewards points that can be used to gain an invite to the World Championships through various City Leagues
- the Japan Championships give 600 Points to the winner
- Pokkén Tournament DX qualifier runs the standard Double Elimination Format with the battles being Team Battles
- it has a cap of 32 Players in Seniors and 128 Players in Masters
- all elements result in invites to the Pokémon World Championships in Washington D.C. this August

The Pokémon Japan Championships 2019 competition is soon heading to Japan. Check out all the latest details on this Japan-only battle competition below.

- Double Battle competition using standard 2019 VGC rules
- players can use 2 Restricted Pokémon (Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala & Necrozma)
- based on the Ultra Series where both Z-Crystals and Mega Evolutions are allowed
- offers a chance to qualify to the Japan Championships inside Japan
- all Pokémon will be raised to Level 50 for the duration of the competition
- registration runs from April 4th - April 19th
- battles will run from April 19th - April 22nd
- all entrants who play 3 or more matches will get a Shiny Tapu Fini, which will be distributed sometime in May 2019

Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon 2019 International Challenge February Online Competition Now Live

In the 2019 International Challenge February Online Competition, Trainers create a team using Pokémon from National Pokédex No. 001 through 807, with the exception of Mythical Pokémon and Ash-Greninja. You’ll also only be able to include up to two of the most powerful Legendary Pokémon on your team (see the Pokémon VGC 2019 Moon Series distribution regulations for a complete list of eligible Pokémon).

The competition features Double Battles with teams of four to six Pokémon, of which four will compete in each match. All Pokémon must have a black clover icon, meaning they were caught or hatched in Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon or obtained from an event distribution in these games. All Pokémon will be set to Lv. 50 for the duration of the battles.

Z-Moves are permitted, but Ultranecrozium Z, the Blue Orb, the Red Orb, and Mega Stones may not be used. Other items are allowed, but Trainers may not have duplicate items in their Battle Team. You can also use the special Berries that are currently available in a Mystery Gift via Nintendo Network. There will be a 7-minute player clock, with 45-second turns.

All qualified participants in the 2019 International Challenge February Online Competition will receive a Shiny Tapu Bulu. The top players will also receive Championship Points, which contribute toward earning an invitation to the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. Players must complete at least three battles to qualify.

Sign up and battle in the upcoming 2019 International Challenge February Online Competition with your copy of either Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon. The competition goes from Friday, February 22, 2019, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 23:59 UTC. Trainers will be limited to 15 battles per day, with unplayed battles carrying over to the next day.

All qualified participants in the 2019 International Challenge February Online Competition will receive a Shiny Tapu Bulu, and the top players will receive Championship Points, which contribute toward earning an invitation to the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. Players must complete at least three battles to qualify.

You’ll need a Pokémon Trainer Club account to compete. After you log in, you’ll be able to read and accept the regulations on the PGL. You’ll also need your own Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon video game and a Battle Team of eligible Pokémon. Accept the regulations on the Pokémon Global Link by Thursday, February 21, 2019, at 23:59 UTC, and get ready to battle! New details on the Pokemon 2019 European International Champsions shared

The Pokémon Company International has shared a new, important tidbit on the upcoming 2019 European International Championships. We knew the event was taking place in Berlin, Germany from April 26th to 28th, but now we have more specific details on where. The event will be held at the Estrel Berlin Hotel & Congress Center, and includes a Video Game Championship tournament, Trading Card Game tournament, and a Pokkén Tournament DX World Championship qualifier.
