Famitsu print ads - Langrisser I & II, Go Vacation

Two more ads for Switch games in the most recent issue of Famitsu. Seems like there's a good bit of buzz building for Langrisser I & II. It'll be very interesting to see how well that game does. As for Go Vacation, it doesn't seem like too many people decided to check that one out. Perhaps a renewed ad campaign like this can spur on some more interest.

Langrisser I & II preloads go live in Japan on Feb. 28th, 2019

Langrisser I & II hits the Switch in Japan on April 18th, 2019. For those eager to grab the game, the option to preload goes live on Feb. 28th, 2019. Hopping in on the preload will net customers a ¥500 discount.

Langrisser I & II demo hitting Switch in Japan on Feb. 7th, 2019

A demo for Langrisser I & II has been announced for the Switch in Japan, and is set to launch on Feb. 7th, 2019. The demo will include the first three stages of Langrisser I, and stages four to six of Langrisser II. The demo also includes “Classic Mode,” which lets players choose between illustrated and classic artwork. Finally, the demo will include some hidden content and features that will link up to the full release of the game.

Moving on, we have details on DLC as well. There will be Classic Mode DLC that adds BGM from the original games and artwork by original artist Satoshi Urushihara. This DLC comes free in first print copies of the game, and the digital version will include it for a limited time.

Langrisser I & II delayed in Japan

Chara-Ani has announced a delay for Langrisser I & II in Japan. The title was originally slated to see release on February 7th, 2019, but has now been bumped back to April 18, 2019. This delay was put into place in order to achieve a higher quality in the final product. While the developers continue to work away on the game, Chara-Ani has also announced that they're considering releasing a demo.
