Mario Kart Tour has been updated to Version 2.6.1. Check out the patch notes below.

- Even though users’ Gold Pass subcriptions have been automatically renewed, it is now reflected in the game.

- An error code is displayed or the game freezes when trying to check the profile of a friend who has not played in a while.

Mario Kart Tour's 1st Anniversary tour has already come to an end. Now it's time to celebrate the month of October with a spooky Halloween Tour! There's some new costumes, pumpkins littered about courses, and an overall Fall theme to the action for the next couple of weeks. Enjoy it while it lasts!

The Mario Kart Tour game is celebrating its first lap around the sun, and you are cordially invited! Don your finest and pull up for a worldwide party in the 1st Anniversary Tour—the latest limited-time event in the Mario Kart Tour game, happening now.

Hit the road and zip past the sights in five city tracks, including the new track New York Minute 3 and the return of Paris Promenade 1, Vancouver Velocity 1, Tokyo Blur 1, and London Loop 1.

As an added way to celebrate, all rewards give you rubies in the Mario Kart Tour Anniversary Challenges. Rubies can help you fire the pipe, which is chock-full of drivers from select tours of this first year!

Week 1: Five drivers are in the spotlight

In the first week of the 1st Anniversary Tour, you can find Pauline, Mario (Hakama), Peach (Vacation), Walugi (Bus Driver), and Rosalina (Aurora) in the spotlight.

Pauline's special item is the Lucky Seven. With a haul of items like that, you’ve got to like your odds of victory!
Mario (Hakama)'s special item is the Coin Box. Golden coins galore!
Peach (Vacation)'s special item is the Coin Box. Save up for something great!
Walugi (Bus Driver)'s special item is the Triple Bananas. Jolly good!
Rosalina (Aurora)'s special item is the Ice Flower. Use it to help keep a cool head in heated races!

The favored courses for these drivers will include the second course of every cup for the duration of the 1st Anniversary Tour. This should help you set new point records!

Week 2: Even more drivers in the spotlight

In the second week of the 1st Anniversary Tour, you can find Peach (Kimono), Mario (Musician), Baby Rosalina (Detective), Shy Guy (Pastry Chef), and Wario (Hiker) in the spotlight.

Peach (Kimono)'s special item is Mushroom Cannon. Make sure you wave as you blast by the competition!
Mario (Musician)'s special item is Double Bob-ombs. Snare ‘em with the ol’ one-two boom!
Baby Rosaline (Detective)'s special item is Dash Ring. Ring around the race track, reach the front of the pack!
Shy Guy (Pastry Chef)'s special item is Mushroom Cannon. Order up!
Wario (Hiker)'s special item is Bob-omb Cannon. You’ll have a blast with this one!

The favored courses for these drivers will include the third course of every cup for the duration of the 1st Anniversary Tour. See if you can end the first year with new point records!

The included Tour gifts this time are Luigi, the Streamliner kart, and the Bob-Omb Parafoil glider. There are also Log-In Bonuses, along with the extension of the limited-time event to 14 days. Finally, all rewards in the Mario Kart Tour Anniversary Challenges will give you rubies.

Big plans for a big celebration!

Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart Tour's 1st Anniversary tour will start up on Oct. 6th, 2020 at 11 PM PT. The tour will feature the return of five city courses from the first year. On top of that, Log-In Bonuses with the limited-time event have been extended to 14 days with a special lineup. Nintendo also revealed that all rewards will give you rubies in the Anniversary Challenges.

Off to the races
