Pokemon Rumble Rush - content update for Aug. 21st, 2019

[Events] A new time-limited event is now live: Gengar’s Cavernous Hideout. It features the following Pokémon: Alakazam, Gengar, Kadabra, and more (80 different species in total). It features the following Summon Gears: Psychic (Alakazam), Shadow Punch (Gengar), Psychic (Kadabra). Also, starting with this event, the area rank limit is 30 (instead of 25 previously). Area rank 21 and up will feature powered-up versions of Super Bosses you’ve already battled (available until September 4th)

[Log-in Bonus] As compensation for the maintenance that took place on August 20th/21st, all players can now claim the following as special Log-in Bonus: Poké Diamond x100 (available until September 21st)

Pokemon Rumble Rush update coming Aug. 21st, 2019

Pokemon Co. has announced that the next update for Pokemon Rumble Rush is set to launch on Aug. 21st, 2019. This will bump the game up to Version 1.3.0, which includes an increase in the amount of Super Bosses. The number will be raised from 25 to 30. Full details on this update will be shared as we get closer to launch.

A new event has kicked off in Pokemon Rumble Rush, and it's features an island based on Jirachi. The island contains various new Pokémon, new Gears, and more. This event will run until Aug. 21st, 2019.

Last night, we made mention of Pokemon Rumble Rush finally launching on iOS devices. Today the Pokemon Co. has put out a new trailer to celebrate that occasion. Remember, the game is free-to-play, so why not give it a shot and see if it hooks you?

What a rush

Two months after the Android release and with no prior warning, Pokemon Co. has released Pokemon Rumble Rush on iOS devices. The download is live right now, so you can hop in the iOS App Store and download the game for free this very moment. Those who have both devices can transfer progress from Android to iOS, but your Coins and Diamonds will not transfer.

New event now live in Pokemon Rumble Rush

Along with the Version 1.2.0 update we detailed earlier today, a new event has kicked off in Pokemon Rumble Rush. This event is focused on an island based around Zapdos, and contains various new Pokémon, new Gears, and more. The event is set to run for three weeks.

New features and improvements to existing features

- Super Boss Rush has become Coin Rush
- Etc.


- The base numbers for gears and their numbers after being upgraded have been buffed.
- The number of slots in the refinery has been increased from three to six.
- Etc.

Bug fixes

- Fixes to address the app force-quitting during gameplay
- Implemented processing to address cases in which the game couldn’t be started when there was a discrepancy with the time settings of the device.

Setting the level cap for (Type) Move Plus power gears to 50
Changing the amounts of P needed to upgrade (Type) Move plus power gears
- Example: P needed to upgrade from Lv. 4 to 5: 6,300 > 6,500
- Example: P needed to upgrade from Lv. 9 to 10: 6,500 > 10,000
- Example: P needed to upgrade from Lv. 19 to 20: 19,700 > 50,000

Rumblings of an update

Pokemon Rumble Rush players should prepare for a Version 1.2.0 update, which is set to launch on July 17th, 2019. This update coincides with a new island in the game, and will also rebalance all gear types.

- Level 1 Type Move Plus Power Gears change from 30 to 50
- The boost with each level on Type Move Plus Power Gears increases from 10 to 50
- The level cap for Type Move Plus Power Gears is lowered from 100 to 50
- The amount of P Coins needed to upgrade Type Move Plus Power Gears is altered.

Pokemon News - Pokemon Rumble Rush event, Pokemon GO Legendary Dinner Hour, Pokemon Duel update

Pokemon updates all around!

Three tidbits of Pokemon news to talk about today, starting off with Pokemon Rumble Rush. A new event has started in the game, and it's focused on an island based around Pinsir. This island contains various new Pokémon, Gears and more.

As for Pokemon GO, another Dinner Hour of Legendary raids is kicking off today. Starting at 6 PM local time, players will have a chance to take on Groudon.

Finally, the update we detailed last week for Pokemon Duel is now live. The update includes a number of bug fixes, figure updates, and some other details. Check out a quick rundown of details below.

A minor update

Pokemon Rumble Rush has been updated to Version 1.1.1. This is just a minor update, clocking in at 35 MB. The update patch notes say it includes bug fixes, but doesn't share more info than that.
