Bandai Namco has updated Bakutsuri Hunters to Version 1.0.1. Check out details on what this patch does below.

- fixes an issue where bonuses weren’t delivered after completing some quests,
- corrects several effect descriptions,
- fixes an in issue where some giga lures' effect description was different from the actual effect
- other bug fixes

Bandai Namco also announced that they're bringing the game to World Hobby Fair Winter 2020. Those who stop by Bandai Namco's booth to play the game will get to take home a fishing spot card.

Want to give the anime fishing game Bakutsuri Hunters a shot? A code has been published online that gives you access to a demo, as long as you have a Japanese eShop account. Use the code D3GM-3304-16LB-VWLB, and get the powerful limited Giga data that can be used in the main game. This demo can only be played docked, as handheld is not an option.

Bandai Namco is going out of their way to show off what the gameplay is like in Bakutsuri Hunters. They've put out a 10-minute feature that not only shows gameplay, but also what you'll be doing with the controller accessories. It looks like a pretty wild experience!

Here's a bit of good news for those in Japan who are interested in Bakutsuri Hunters. The game itself will be a free download on the Switch eShop. Wondering why the game is free? You'll need to purchase Bakutsuri Hunters toys in order to play the game, with the Giga Reel priced at 5,280 yen.
