Atlus working on a patch for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster

A much-needed update

When Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster first hit Switch, many users noticed that the game was in pretty rough shape. Thankfully Atlus isn't going to let things sit as they are.

The company has confirmed that they're working on a patch for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster. In particular, Atlus will be looking at behavioral speed in specific places, along with some general bug cleanup. No word on when to expect the patch to launch, but hopefully players won't have to wait too long.

It’s been 17 years since the original release of Shin Megami Tensei III, known in the U.S. as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Now, the apocalyptic legend returns in a full high-definition remake of the classic game, coming to Nintendo Switch in spring 2021.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is now available for the Switch in Japan, but those in Europe and North America have to wait until Spring 2021. An SMT explosion!

Atlus recently held a stream for Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster, and it contained a number of announcements and other tidbits. Check out a full summary of the stream below.

- a scale 1/1 statue figure for SMT3 Protagonist Demifiend is in the works
- an Action Series Figure of Demifiend by Good Smile Company is coming
- the OST included in the Japanese limited edition of the game will also be released separately on December 16th, 2020
- an SMT concert will be held in March 2021, and is titled the “Shin Megami Tensei Online Live 2021 ~Ongaku no Kotowari~”
- the illustration for the concert was drawn by Masayuki Doi
- ticket sales for the stream and additional information will be coming in November
