Majora's Mask Lore Explored Through Children of Termina Album

SEATTLE - November 13, 2018 - Materia Collective is pleased to announce Children of Termina, a deep exploration of the unsettling lore behind The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask by arranger Rozen. Much like his smash-hit albums Sins of Hyrule and Ballads of Hyrule, Children of Termina features powerful orchestral arrangements, this time taking on a dark and haunting tone as listeners unravel the mysteries of Termina. Live performers on the album include the Sofia Session Orchestra, Julie Elven (Horizon Zero Dawn) and Celica Soldream (World of Warcraft). Children of Termina is licensed and available for pre-order ahead of the November 30, 2018 release in digital and CD formats as well as limited edition vinyl:

Rozen is keeping the full track list under wraps with reveals to be made regualarly throughout the pre-order period, but the album opens with the explosive "The World That Ends in Three Days" which can be heard on the Bandcamp page now.

"For the next installment in my Hyrule series, I wanted to explore the parallel world of Termina and its lore," explains Rozen. "There's so much beauty found in darkness and mystery, even at the final moments of one's existence. I wanted to capture all the feelings in the hearts of the people of Termina when they're looking up at the falling moon, one last time, before facing extinction: love, solitude, despair, acceptance. It is my wish that you join me in this unsettling but emotional journey in the lands below Hyrule, and feel the same desperate need to heal the world as Link did."

Children of Termina will also ship on a limited deluxe edition 2xLP vinyl that will include alternate artwork with purple foil, foil-stamped numbering, a sheet music memento, an autograph by Rozen, and more (limited to 200 units). The CD is planned to ship December 2018 with the vinyl planned for January 2019.

Fan-Art: Wooden Majora's Mask

ThePropBox recently showed off some new pics of a wooden Majora's Mask replica he made 5 years ago, and it's still looking absolutely fantastic! Looks realistic enough to make me nervous about holding it up to my face!

Fan-Art: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask painting

Now that is one hell of a fine job. I'd definitely love to have something like that hanging in my game room, or my office. You know, until I saw it at night and it freaked me out too much.

Nintendo adds "Majora's Mask: Terrible Fate" fan film to their YouTube "Nintendo Favorites" listing

Well, that is not something I ever expected to see. Nintendo usually isn't too fond of spreading the word on fan projects. With that said, Nintendo has decided to feature the amazing "Majora's Mask: Terrible Fate" fan film to their "Nintendo Favorites" listing on their YouTube page. The listing is largely dominated by YouTube personalities Nintendo has worked with, or Nintendo's own content. This inclusion of the Majora's Mask video is really surprising. Let's hope it's the first glimmer of a Nintendo that's looking to change their stance on fan projects.

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Wii U VC discount issue fixed

Just recently, we posted about an issue users were experiencing when downloading Majora's Mask for the Wii U VC. If you had the original Wii VC release, you should have been able to get the Wii U version for $2. For some reason, that discount wasn't applying. Now Nintendo has gone in and fixed the issue, so the discount should apply for all those that transferred the game over from Wii. Thanks to all that sent this in!
