Mike Tyson has heard Nintendo is doing a new Punch-Out!!, but we're going to guess he's mistaken

Dream fight

Who do you think of when it comes to breaking Nintendo news? Does Mike Tyson even make the list? Well as of today, Mr. Tyson is apparently the authority on new Punch-Out!! games, and he says one is in the works.

I'm going to guess that Tyson is 100% wrong here. If I had to guess, I'd say that the news of Punch-Out!! coming to the Switch Online NES collection somehow made its way to him, and he misconstrued that as a new game. Seems like the most plausible situation to me.

Then again, maybe Tyson is in the know and I'm completely wrong. Stranger things have happened!

Thanks to Gerjet and Andreslop24 for the heads up!

Not exactly killing it

The Nvidia Shield store in China has gotten 4 legacy Nintendo titles throughout the last year. The lineup included Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Punch-Out!! (Wii). Wondering how they've sold after 365 days? Check out the data below.

Super Mario Galaxy - 8,042
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - 7,315
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - 4,998
Punch-Out!! - 2,406

Not exactly a warm welcome for these titles, but there's a portion of the data we don't have. How many people in China actually bought the Nvidia Shield?

Arcade Archives: Punch-Out!! - more gameplay footage

I've seen Punch-Out!! in the arcades a few time, but I've never played it. I actually have an arcade near my house that has it. I know it's coming to the Switch and all, but I think I need to visit that arcade and give the real thing a shot.
