"What are you playing?" thread

What are you playing?
What have you recently beaten?
Any opinions on it?

Figured this would be a good thread to bring back. So get posting!

I'm currently playing through Majora's Mask (3D), which I never played much of before, and it's awesome.

(Put this in "Random Time!", because where else to put it.)

No new posts since December?!

I'll do a third post in a row, because I've been playing two indie games that I want to spread the word about.

Ms. Splosion Man - a really fun 2D platformer. You can play in single player or multiplayer co-op, and unlike the New Super Mario Bros. series, the co-op here is not just an afterthought. You will need to work together with your partner(s) or you won't get very far. There are 100 levels, 50 for single player and 50 different levels for multiplayer, so even if you only plan to play the game alone, or only with friends, you get a full game's worth of content either way. I absolutely recommend this over New Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and it's a heck of a lot cheaper as well.

BQM - BlockQuest Maker. Until Nintendo decides otherwise, this is the closest we've got to a Zelda Maker. The userbase is small (understandable since it's hard to make your game stand out in the eShop among all the trash that gets released every week) but there are some really creative levels on here. Since you can make your own story be told through NPCs and leave signboards with hints for the players, I find this to be a little more creative than Super Mario Maker.

Saw Skyrim was half price on the Switch eShop so took the plunge. Haven’t actually started it yet because I’m replaying BOTW.

Pulled out the ps2. DDS 1 and 2 then xenosaga trilogy

I've been playing Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. It's...interesting. I kind of regret going with the Switch version instead of PC or PS4, but that's just for the graphics. This game, while a miracle they have it running on Switch, can look downright ugly at times. It reminds me of when games that were made with Dreamcast specs in mind would get scaled down to run on Nintendo64 or PlayStation. Even if they were still a good game, you just knew you were playing the inferior version.

This game doesn't seem very long and also doesn't seem like it's going to be something you want to play through more than once, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
