The Kojima information they DIDN'T want you to hear!

Scandalous!!! Outrageous!!! Unsuitable for print!!! That’s what ALL the major news sources when it came to what Kojima spoke of during his DIEC roundtable discussion. Well maybe those news sources didn’t say that, but that is the stance they took! Now it’s time for GoNintendo to break the silence!

I came across this news on a few messageboards about a half hour ago, and since then haven’t found the DIRECT quote from Mr. Kojima, but it has been verified as true by a few unnamed sources, and Joystiq just joined in with the story. (Damn them for beating me by 5 mintues!) During the DIEC roundtable, Mr. Kojima was asked what type of game he would like to make for the DS. Brace yourselves for Kojima’s answer…it may SHOCK and OFFEND you.

“I would like to make a DS game where you can spank spank girl’s asses…(laughter)

How dare Mr. Kojima speak like this, has he no respect?! The real deal here is that NO news sources that attended the DIEC media event mentioned this little bit of information, but they made sure to cover everything else. Were they afraid that people would be upset about Kojima’s statement, or did they see it as a trivial comment? I think quotes like these are important to report on, for the simple fact that they let you know that game developers of the world are just like us…they laugh, they joke, they have fun…they are human. It helps you to connect with them on a different level, a more personal level.

Now when do you think Hideo is going to get around to making that game?!
