RUMOR - Peter Moore to become EA CEO
Yesterday there was a bit of news I decided not to post. It involved Michael Pachter saying that EA CEO John Riccitiello was worried about his job. Later in the day, Pachter said it was just a joke, so I left the story unposted.
Today we hear more about this story. This could be spurred on by Pachter's 'joke', or it could be that Pachter let you some info he shouldn't have. Rumor has it that EA CEO John Riccitiello will be replaced by EA Sports boss Peter Moore. Moore has been moving up in the company for quite some time. A position at the top wouldn't be surprising at all.
I guess we'll find out on July 30th if this was all a rumor or Pachter spilled the beans. The info is supposedly set to be revealed in a earnings call on the 30th.
