Street Fighter/Tekken Minimates figurines moved up, more revealed

Remember when we announced the Street Fighter X Tekken Minimates? We said Series 1 was coming in November, while Series 2 was due in February... but since you couldn't wait any longer, it's arriving early - and by "early" I mean tomorrow! That's right, starting this Wednesday, Ken, Steve, Sagat, King, Cammy, Nina, Poison and Lili will be available at your local comic and specialty shops as well as Toys "R" Us.

But we've got some more details on Series 2, coming straight from Diamond Select Toys, below:

The first series of Street Fighter X Tekken Minimates will be arriving in stores on Wednesday, but Diamond Select Toys is already hard at work on Series 2! Coming in January 2013, some of the most iconic characters in Street Fighter will face off with some of the biggest names in Tekken, as seen in the recent crossover video game! Check out the line-up!

After the new year, comic and specialty shops will get the following two-packs:

Ryu vs. Yoshimitsu
Abel vs. Kazuya
Rufus vs. Julia (exclusive)
Chun Li vs. Hwoarang (exclusive)

Around the same time, Toys "R" Us will receive:

Ryu vs. Yoshimitsu
Abel vs. Kazuya
Hugo vs. Heihachi (exclusive)
Rolento vs. Kuma (exclusive)

Pre-order the specialty figures today at your local comic shop, and pick up Series 1 on Wednesday!
