“I think it is very likely. I cannot tell specifically what ideas I used to have at the time which might be realized this time around. But as you might recall, at one of the E3 shows several years ago we showcased a game of Pac-Man Versus, which was a really interesting game. Unfortunately however it was rather hard for everyone to own four GBAs at the same time.
But at that time still it was not very easy or accepted. [Now, with Wii U], it’s not just creators outside the company are finding fascinating possibilities to be able to realize a game dream come true.” - Shigeru Miyamoto
Now I'm really excited for Wii U! I loved that GBA connection, but it never got used enough. Is it time for another Four Swords?!

Yes please!
Just make a decent game, enough with the gimmicks.
A true console successor to the GCN Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Add some online co-op, make it pretty as heck, have some expansions via eShop...
Luigi's Mansion in NintendoLand IS Pac-Man Vs. 2, almost exactly.
But yes, I definitely want more of this type of stuff. And 4 GBAs? Try 5 Gamecubes, 5 TVs, and 4 Gameboy players. That's where the REAL multiplayer fun comes!
Since Miyamoto can do whatever he damn well pleases, let's start the hype for Four Swords 3, more Crystal Chronicles, etc.
I'm okay with this.
Um how bout you get some online titles out there first Nintendo. Cause things like 4 swords could work exactly the same via online play. >_>
If they don't release Pac-Man Vs. on the e-shop, something is wrong!
Hey, Miyamoto... Pac-Man Vs. only requires one GBA. >_>
I'd love to see a sequel to Kirby's Tilt n' Tumble on Wii U.
Does that make Tilt N Tumble 2 more likely? :O
And just the other day I was thinking how it never had a chance existing anymore...
So now instead of having to buy four GBA's we'll have to buy 3 extra Gamepads?
I BET he is interested to returning to unrealized GBA - Gamecube linked games, I thought the whole idea of the Wii U rested on the insistance that Pac-man VS wasn't a bad idea.
If he didn't consider realizing them for the Wii U, it would have been a massive waste of company resources bending the console's development to his will the whole time.
FINALLY. THAT TILT N TUMBLE GAME.
And more Four Swords!
Shame on them for not making a real one for DS or 3DS already, honestly.
Although I loved Kirby Tilt n' Tumble, and have been hoping for a new one since the Wii was shown to use motion controllers how are people getting the impression that this statement means a potential sequel to the game??? It was a GB color game (not a GBA game), and it had no link features with any console...
PS Wii U gamepad would be a natural fit for a sequel.

Ooh, interesting!
If not with all Gamepads, possily some link possibilities with 3DS? That's the first thing I thought of reading this, linking consoles and handhelds... and I know some 3DS games will have cross-play functionality.

Wow, he really is losing it. VS only needed one GBA.
Maybe he was talking about using the full multiplayer possibilities, not that you needed 4 of them? That's how I understood it anyway,
Nope. Wii U can only handle two Gamepads at once
The Legend of Zelda Two Swords Adventures
Sounds fun!
But seriously, I think he was referring to 3DS Wii U connectivity. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Iwata hint this too?
Anything is better than that waste of money Four Swords Adventures game. I don't think I even died in that game! XD
As long as it isn't as annoying as the GameCube 4 swords game ill be down.
i loved the four swords gift on the 3ds , i wish more games would have used local gameplay but i feel there are some technical limitations to that technology , well i've seen some. Hopefully the flawless wii u technology can overcome every of those . Of course , it's too bad , no journalists or hardcore gamers will notice or care and will soon demand an online equivalent , as if that technology does not have limits .
I can't blame Miyamoto for having a shaky memory - just look at the Kirby Tilt video above - the years of Wii have clearly aged the man! Besides, the mere thought of him returning to ideas he couldn't fully realise earlier has me salivating.
4 swords, online multi so everyone can use the gamepad to flip in-and-out of dungeons, local 3DS connectivity (for those who have both
