"If you look at past adaptations of games to movies, none were done by an integrated gaming company that put a movie structure inside of itself. We're not here to just license and we're not here to produce big movies ourselves. We are really in the middle of it." - Jean-Julien Baronnet, Ubisoft
I really hope Ubisoft can make something happen in the movie industry with game adaptations. I'd love to see a good job done. It's worked wonders for the comic industry!

Because they found an actor with no arms and no legs to play Rayman!
AAAAYYYYOOOOOOOO
Danny DeVito?
BWAH HAH HAH AH HAH!!!!
Ubisoft, you so qwazy!
If Square couldn't do it with Final Fantasy, and those games have practically been movies for years now as it is, what chance does any other gaming company have?
Are you implying that Final Fantasy stories are good movies? Maybe that's where you're wrong.
No, I'm implying that Square already had plenty of experience with making movies since so many of their games are filled with them, something that Ubisoft doesn't currently have any of, and all they could come up with was The Spirits Within.
Doesn't really bode well for any other games companies, especially ones who don't have a history of making theatrically styled games to begin with.
Rise of the Rabbids... Next years Best Picture winner at the Oscar's...
Was that PoP moive good then?
I mean, I didn't watch it [though I might rent it sometime, just to drool over Jake]...
I actually thought it was rather enjoyable. Not a great movie by any means but it was pretty decent.
But what game could they make a movie of?
I can see Nintendo with Metroid or Zelda if there was a good team behind it.
FF: The spirits within (?) was a good movie in my eyes, but didn't have much to do with the games.
Maybe Uncharted since that seems to be an interactive movie anyway...
Anyway, I just don't see a game from Ubi that is worthy for a movie so far...
Oh and I do like the first Mortal Kombat movie! Is it just nostalgia?
