Nintendo Show 3D comes to an end

I don't know why the show is ending so quickly, but it's unfortunately true. The latest episode of Nintendo Show 3D is indeed the last, as confirmed at the end of the episode. Enjoy the show now while you still can! Thanks to SatoAilDarko for the heads up.

Yay. There was no point in this show. I get all my news and more from the Internet.

It was neat, especially for being 3D, but at some point my IP just started getting extra sluggish, and I could never make it through the first third before it'd start rebuffering, and it just got to be a pain to watch in 3D the news I already knew about anyway. I'll at least miss having the option to watch it, though.

I liked this show quite a bit, I watched regularly whenever it came out. It was short, 3-4 minutes and showed some 3d footage of games you couldn't see on YouTube or elsewhere online. I was hoping they would do a monthly Wii U specific one when game releases got more regular. It was also useful for educating consumers not hardcore in their game knowledge on new titles.

I hope Nintendo tries again with a show in the future. Possibly just monthly and focusing on both platforms.

I also loved that the final you haven't seen this in 3D video was them just setting up the green screen and finishing a show. Really classy surprisingly.

:( Jesse Cantrell

I used to watch it every week but I fell off as news got slower. Peaked around the time Mario graced the system. Maybe shoulda made it a monthly thing?

We should be getting a show with previews from Nintendo direct to the hardware. Tailored directly to their adopters. You can focus on different types of software that way and not ask the question "Why don't we just put this on youtube?"

Damn, i would like a Nintendo Week-type of thing back, Nintendo Show 3D was good, but i liked Nintendo Week better. I hope they make some kind of new show for 3DS and Wii U.

I enjoyed the show and sad to see it go. However I think something else will replace it. Perhaps not another show but more uses of spot pass and miiverse.

How about turning Nintendo Direct into an actual monthly show for both systems? Make it kind of a replacement for Nintendo Power...

Aww, I liked Jessie. Maybe she can do a Wii U show.

Never watched this show, actually.

Maybe it was reasonably entertaining, but the idea of Nintendo hand-selecting the stuff they thought I should watch, and this somehow being better than any other outlet because of "marvelous 3D!!!" never really appealed to me.

Wait, what was Nintendo Show 3D? I never even heard of it? Maybe we didn't get it in Europe?

I enjoyed both shows from nintendo and even a few on Xbox too. Shows like this don't seem to gain traction...sad really! They need to do something, because the game sites/mags barely cover Nintendo related stuff. They should do it big and use it for both systems and view it as self-advertising.

I think the thing that killed Nintendo Show 3D was that it was hidden away in the eShop. The big problem with 3DS, and to a lesser extent Wii U, is that the main menu doesn't keep you up to date on what's new. Wii U kinda does because of the plaza. Even though I don't care about half the stuff that appears on the PS3 XMB, at least it makes me aware of what's new. I immediately started seeing Bioshock Infinite splashed across the screen once the game came out. Like I said, Wii U kinda has that with the plaza. Kinda. 3DS has nothing like that.

Yay?

Well, lucky you. Unfortunately my computer doesn't give me previews in 3D so I can see what the games would look like on my 3DS... :(

I hope they have something else (I enjoy Nintendo Direct too).

I actually thought the show was decent, and as far as hosts go, Jessie Cantrell was not annoying in the slightest. She actually came off as interested in the games and seemed to know what she was talking about.

I liked seeing the games in 3D as well, and the end show bumpers.

It wasn't groundbreaking, but it was nice to have, and a step in the right direction for Nintendo. Not to mention free.

*sigh* End of an era....

The eShop interface on the 3DS is a disorganized mess for their games and videos. They REALLY need set sections and not "Flavor of the Day" menu options that change up all the time.

They should have hired another blonde like they had on the Wii. The girl was not appealing in the slightest. The show was dead from the moment she casted her.

That's too bad. I liked watching the show every other week. :(
