Amazon France shows listing for Splinter Cell: Blacklist on Wii U

Why are there so many retailers listing this title for Wii U, but Ubisoft refuses to confirm anything? Something fishy is going on here...

I'm inclined to believe it's Nintendo more-so than Ubisoft. They like to embargo things until they're ready to show 'em. Not sure I agree with that tactic.

@GustyGardens

I know what you mean. They didn't used to be like this. We need games and stuff like Splinter cell is one of them. I hope they are only going to be like this for the first year.

I love the idea of this game coming to Wii U. The more quality games, the merrier.

I've been wanting to play Spys vs Mercs since we didn't get it for the GameCube!

This is starting to feel like the Watch_Dogs announcement.

I really wish Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 would get release dates as well.

I don't understand the lack of announcements from Nintendo and third parties.

There is so many games that comes out for WiiU that don't get any mention until it's too late to promote them... it almost looks like micosoft and Sony don't want the devs to promote the Nintendo version... or even the publisher themselves

I will 100% buy this game if it is coming to Wii U. Publishers, take note: I will spend money on your games if you would just release them on the Wii U console!!!

This, Watch Dogs, next Assassin's Creed...PLEASE keep bringing the AAA titles! Wii U-exclusive owner, here.

@Zaakro The constant OoT and more recently, Brawl delays [and vocal disappointment / whining both spun] forced Nintendo's hand on the 'not announce things too early' strategy methinks.

... Not that Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing and Paper Mario on the 3DS escaped a 'too early' reveal, mind.

Although it is awesome to see this hit the Wii U I still won't buy it. It's the same reason I've given up on buying MGS5. They need to keep voice actors the same. You really can't just change them just to change them. Sam isn't Sam without Michael Ironside and Snake isn't Snake without David Hayter.

And I like what RMC said in the description...fishy...huh huh....I thought it was funny...
