Nintendo won't say if they're stopping DS production
Nintendo's press release earlier today showed some indication that the DS line of systems would no longer be produced. Even with some extra wording, it still sounded like Nintendo would sell what's out there and be done with the lineup. Here's what Nintendo UK had to say when CVG asked them about the situation.
"Nintendo will continue to sell Nintendo DS Hardware but is not revealing a unit sales forecast at this time."
NoA had a similar statement...
"Nintendo will continue to sell Nintendo DS Hardware but is not revealing a unit sales forecast at this time."
By Nintendo UK saying 'at this time', they mean ever. We won't hear about things stopping until they've already been stopped for awhile. You know, the typical Nintendo way!
