Kickstarter for Ecco the Dolphin spiritual successor fails
Ed Annunziata wanted over $650k for The Big Blue, a spiritual successor to Ecco the Dolphin. By the time his Kickstarter project ended, he only managed to pull in around $55k. Even with the lack of support, Annunziata still believes in the project. He'll be creating a smaller, cheaper version of the game called Little Blue
"I am absolutely certain that if you could try the game and see how beautiful and unique it will be, most people would not hesitate to back it, and will want to be involved in it's creation. If you can play Little Blue and feel it you will have much less doubts about the Big Blue."
