GN Version 4.0
(Chicago, IL) August 20, 2013 –As part of the global “The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” tour for 2013, the acclaimed concert returns to The Chicago Theatre on Friday, November 22 to once again thrill music lovers and Zelda enthusiasts with Second Quest, including fresh and exciting new material exploring additional chapters from the Zelda franchise. Those new to Symphony of the Goddesses will also have the opportunity to experience the beautifully orchestrated four-movement symphonic work from last season, which chronicles fan-favorite moments from the franchise’s rich and storied history, carefully and expertly timed with a gorgeous, larger-than-life orchestral score. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, August 23 at 10:00AM (CST).

Based on one of the most popular and beloved video game series of all time, the tour—which has been hailed as a modern classic—features live orchestral performances of theme music from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise. The name "Symphony of the Goddesses" refers not only to the concert program but also to the four-movement symphony recounting the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

"We are ecstatic to return to the historic Chicago Theatre,” notes Jason Michael Paul. “The Legend of
Zelda promises to take the audience on a magical adventure.”

The concert, which is continuously being updated with new tour dates, is a festive event for all walks of fans who are encouraged to don their hero’s tunics and master swords for the experience of a lifetime. To view a complete tour schedule with ticketing information, tour updates and also sign up for a regularly updated digital newsletter, visit http://zelda-symphony.com.
