22nd October 2013 - With the eagerly anticipated launch of Bravely Default on 6th December fast approaching, Nintendo of Europe today unveils the contents of the Bravely Default Deluxe Collector's Edition, a premium edition of the critically acclaimed role-playing title from Square Enix for the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles.

The Bravely Default Deluxe Collector's Edition, which will be available in the UK from ShopTo.net, comes in a game-themed box which contains the following items:

Bravely Default (Nintendo 3DS Game Card)
Agn├Ęs Figurine
Deluxe Artbook
34 AR Cards
Original Soundtrack CD

As a special pre-order bonus, fans will also be able to get their hands on a smaller artbook when they pre-order either the standalone game or the collector's edition at GAME before launch on 6th December. The game itself will also be available as a download from Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles.

Is it confirmed we're not getting such a CE?

Also, I am curious now... what are these AR cards for? Did the original Bravely Default have AR cards? I mean, it strikes me as gimmicky and unnecessary. (I don't want to see this become Square Enix's answer to Capcom's Gaist Crusher, where they just throw a bunch of related media and additional purchases at it to make money. :/ )

Okay Nintendo we all appreciate you helping Square bring BD to the west. Now throw money at them and publish Dragon Quest Heroes 3, Dragon Quest 7 and Dragon Quest X already! They'll serve as great fillers during lulls in 2014!

They got rid of the beautiful Japanese boxart... that's a tragedy.

Also, why do we need TWO age rating squares that take up a fifth of the boxart? Jesus, man.
