GN Version 3.1

The Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing news continues to pour in. First up, some track names that were taken from the new trailer poster earlier today. Some of the names zip by quickly, which means that a few of them couldn’t be transcribed fully.

- Sonic -Whale Lagoon
- Billy Hatcher – Icicle Valley
- Sonic – Roulette Road
- Samba De Amigo – Sunshine Tour
- Jet Set Radio – Shibuya Downtown
- Curien Mansion – Outer Forest
- Sonic – Turbine Loop
- Super Monkey Ball – Treetops
- Billy Hatcher – –art Road

The trailer also seems to reveal not one, but two more tracks that are from Jet Set Radio. On top of that, there could also be a second Final Fortress stage. This is all speculation based off of the trailer from earlier today, but things are looking good.

Now to move onto bad-looking things, it seems like there might be some sort of wheeling and dealing going on with the appearance of Ryo Hazuki. We were all under the impression that this character would be available on all platforms, even though he might have to be unlocked. Now we’re hearing that he might be downloadable in the PS3/360 versions only. To make things even more confusing, Sumo Digital’s Steve Lycett had this to say.

“Don’t panic – you don’t have to download Ryo – or do you? Maybe there is more than one Ryo.”

Does this mean that there’s another version of Ryo Hazuki that can only be downloaded, or is it another Ryo altogether?! Man, this game just keeps throwing us for all sorts of loops.
