GN Version 3.1

I know that many of you have been waiting and waiting for Picross 3D to finally see release. Picross is an extremely addictive game, especially when it’s converted into digital form. Now we’re getting a version of the classic game that adds in a third dimension. I love me some Picross, but this 3D outing might be too much for me to wrap my head around!

Let’s clear this up…I think Picross 3D is a fantastic game. It’s a puzzler-lover’s dream title. This is game that can keep you busy for a very long time, as each puzzle can have you carefully chipping away at blocks for well over 10 minutes. The thing is, I just have trouble thinking in 3D space when it comes to these games! I can get the job done, but it takes a lot of patience on my part, and sometimes I just don’t have enough!

There’s really not much to say about Picross 3D. You know what it is and how it plays. Adding in the third dimension makes the game of Picross feel completely new and different, and I’m sure it’ll take a few of you guys some time to adjust. When you get it though, and you chip away to create those puzzle pics, you have such a great feeling of accomplishment. Well worth the time and effort you put into it.

Plus…the noise and animation for block-chipping can become addictive in and of itself! It’s the small things that count.
