Midway bullish on Wii, 2 more titles

During a call to investors, Midway was asked about their stance on the Wii. They said that they have been interested in the Wii since they first saw the console, but following recent sales they stated that there has been a “small shift to look more significantly at the Wii going forward.” Midway also stated that they have two more titles in the works for the Wii, which are due to ship the second half of 2007. Midway also said that the Wii is “growing to a large install base rather quickly,” and that the “lower development costs compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3″ are definitely motivators in developing for the platform.
