GN Version 3.1

‘(With Sonic Colors, we hope to) introduce Sonic to a whole new audience, building on the success and publicity garnered by the Mario and Sonic titles. Hopefully, with the emphasis set on speed and core platforming, along with the new Wisp elements, it will be a game for old fans and newcomers alike.’ - Takashi Iizuka

- there are some enemies that cannot be defeated using the homing attack, such as underwater enemies, Spinys and Motobugs
- most, if not all underwater sections are in 2D
- you an safely fall into the water in levels, unlike Sonic Unleashed
- no side-missions or mini-games
- You can play Sonic Simulator on your own. Press the 1 or 2 button (in the Wii Remote + Nunchuk configuration), and it will allow you to switch between ‘RoboSonic Player 1′ and ‘RoboSonic Player 2′ (not official names)
- in multiplayer, press the 1 or 2 button (Wiimote+Nunchuk config) to turn into a spinning ball and follow the other character (in order to avoid death)
- “Ouch! I think I gloated so hard I pulled a muscle!” – Dr. Eggman, Sonic Colors
- “Hasta la bye-bye, suckers!” – Dr. Eggman, Sonic Colors

Thanks to Nuckles for the heads up!
