Will the 3DS suffer from "shovelware" syndrome?

There is a lot of hype and tons of excitement for the 3DS (I know I’m on that list), but has anyone thought about the crap that could hit the systems shelves? Yeah the DS has a giant library and yeah much of it may be considered “shovelware”, but can we condemn the 3DS to a similar “fate” this early? Honestly, a system can have all the shovelware it wants as long as I still get enough quality gaming experiences and memories.
