GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Your 3DS Virtual Console must-haves

First bit of real Winter came blasting through NJ tonight. Man, I spoke about this a couple days ago and now it happened! Nothing bad by any means, but enough to have a plow run through once. That’s it, now Winter is going to kick our ass from here on out! I’m ready to go…heat is on and my bed is calling! See you in a few, short hours.

The 3DS is taking over my brain. It’s all I can think about lately, and I’m guessing that I’m not the only one. Hopefully soon, we’ll find out when the 3DS is going to launch in Europe and North America. I’d also like to hear about the price point as well, but I fear that will bring a bit more backlash than the release date. Let’s just ignore that sticky note for right now, and instead focus in on something infinitely more fun. How about that 3DS Virtual Console service, huh?!

The Wii’s Virtual Console definitely has a ton of great games on it, but there are still hundreds that aren’t represented. We know that the way Nintendo handles their VC service has been rather hit-and-miss, but the 3DS VC is a second chance to set things right. Better third party support from the get-go should help make things even better. Nintendo must have learned a thing or two about how to handle a service like this, and will most likely have a better grasp of how to keep us from experiencing those lulls.

The good news is, there’s a massive library of titles for the Game Boy to choose from. Nintendo themselves have tons of games that we’d all love to see once again. While I still play NES/SNES/Genesis/N64 titles on their respective systems, I haven’t had a good Game Boy run in a very long time. I used to have a great collection of games, but that was traded in many years ago. Now I find myself more than willing to repay for titles that I once had in my collection.
