GN Version 3.1

The following comments and information come from Satoru Iwata…

- “It’s important that you be able to supply software with no pause. With the DS and Wii, following the titles that were released at launch, the momentum dropped when there was a gap in software releases. We’re making plans so that this type of thing won’t happen.”

- Iwata says that similar 3D warnings are printed in manuals for most 3D TV sets, and that’s exactly what Nintendo is doing

- no specific time frame for 3DS launches in territories other than Japan, Europe and North America

- Wii sold over 2 million units in the holiday season alone

- DS sold in-line with 2009 sales

- European sales for Wii/DS were in-line with predictions
