NPD - Pachter gives more detail on projected Wii/DS sales for December
“Given competition from the other consoles and as disclosed by Nintendo, we think that the Wii had another down month. We expect Nintendo DS hardware sales to also continue to struggle until the introduction of the Nintendo 3DS in March.” - Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter
It’ll be very interesting to see if the Wii still manages to come out above the 360 this month. We aren’t quite sure where the chips are going to land just yet, but the analysts seem to think it’ll be a close fight.
