“Sports games are often misguidedly slighted for a lack of creativity. Uneducated gamers will cry, ‘You just update the rosters.’ No doubt you’ve heard me vigorously defend the amount of innovation that our Tiburon and EAC studios deliver in our annual titles.” - Peter Moore

It’s funny that this comment pops up today. Just last night I was talking to a major sports-game player. He’s been into sports titles for many years now, and is truly dedicated to that side of gaming. He’s very familiar with what EA does every year, and he was complaining about the lack of innovation and creativity coming from EA’s sports titles over the last few years. This guys knows his stuff, and if he’s claiming that things are growing a bit stale, I’m very inclined to believe him!
