GoNintendo Note - Nintendo's 3DS press event coverage

GN Version 3.1

As many of you know, Nintendo will be holding two press events in just a few hours. Both Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America will be putting on events to detail all sorts of information on the 3DS. We’re expecting to hear release dates, price points and launch lineups for both parts of the world. Of course, the gang at GoNintendo is more than happy to bring you as much coverage as we can!

I’ll be heading to the NYC event in a few hours. It should be fun getting there, considering how crappy the weather here in NJ is. As long as the roads cooperate, I’ll be at the event and ready to live-blog when the show kicks off. The actual presentation starts around 9 AM EST, so that’s when our live-blog should kick in.

Destin is going to be covering the site from around 8 AM EST to about 11:30 AM EST. He’ll hang back while the live-blog is going on, and then start right back up when the presentation is over. At 11:30 AM EST, Cort will be taking over the site. He’ll be doing all sorts of updates until I manage to make it back from NYC. Long story short, your presentation coverage should be pretty much non-stop, even while I’m at the event!

Remember, Europe and North America’s events are taking place at the same time. We’ll have a link up for the live-stream that Nintendo of Europe is doing, and that link will be included with the live-blog of the North American event. That way you can listen/watch one event while you read the other!

I hope you guys are as excited as I am. We’ll do our best to give you all the info you can stand…and then some!
