Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 confirmed, more Devil Kings 2 info, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings tidbits (this week's Japanese magazine news)

Okay, first up we have the first mention of a sequel to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Chunsoft will once again be helming the project. Gameplay will be changed around a bit, but no specific details were given. It is likely that there will be 2 version again, but no word on if there will be a DS/GBA split. Expect a bigger emphasis on story this time, as well as wifi support.

We heard a bit about Devil Kings 2 earlier yesterday, and now some more information comes in. The game will be out in Japan this Winter. There will be 30 characters to choose from, and new stages (this is a special edition release). The Wii version won’t have you wiggling the Wiimote around. No other control details were mentioned.

Now for FFXII Revenant Wings bits. New locations like Giza Plains and Paramina Valley are shown. Maps where missions took place can be revisited in Free Battle mode to gain more items and experience. Finally, free battles are spiced up a bit with the enemies taking on different attributes due to “special conditions”.
