GN Version 3.1

We will only cover details that we haven’t already discussed at great length..

- created by select members of the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei teams, as well as certain members of Tri-Ace
- Yoko Shimomura did the soundtrack
- takes place in the nation of Alistel
- magical book called the White Chronicle lets you travel through time
- on the White Chronicle ‘map’, brown boxes represent linear events in the game, blue boxes indicate events where you’ll be required to make a decision that will affect how your proceed, dark brown boxes indicate a dead end or a bad end
- features two main timelines
- each timeline has multiple branching paths
- possible to see every single outcome
- two “true” endings
- one is the game’s ultimate resolution, and the other is an extended version of the same ending
- battles aren’t random
- choose to engage the enemy
- “Auto Battle” option that can be turned on
- “Change” command allows you to change the order of turns
- this applies to every single player present in the current battle, even enemies
- swap your turns with theirs as well
- group your party’s attacks to execute one after anothe
- when you use the Change command on a member of your party, they begin to flash red in color
- this means they’ll take increased damage until their turn to attack arrives
- enemies are placed on a 3×3 grid
- enemies in the front row have increased offense, enemies in the back have increased defense
- push or pull enemies farther or closer on the grid
- stack enemies onto the same square on the grid
- pile enemies on top of each other, attack one enemy in that pile to hurt all in the pile
- enemies can use their own turns to move around the 3×3 grid
- enemies can unstack without using a turn
- party is limited to three members
- find up to 7 members to create your three-man party from
