Ubisoft sees a future in digital gaming, but not without major investments

- believes digital content will be one of the driving forces behind the games industry in the future
- currently digital titles are weighing down Ubisoft’s profits
- there have been high-quality games, but not a lot of revenue
- digital segment of the market will require a lot of investment before it finally starts to pay off
- cost of investment is higher than revenue gained in return as of right now
- Ubisoft is remaining invested in this area of the market
- plans to launch a new digital initiative that will build upon experiences gained in the current fiscal year
