Is the Virtual Console a Failure?

Well, I guess that depends on who you’re talking to. I’m sure some people are quite happy with the way that the Virtual Console service has been going. Other people might see the titles available as a paltry serving of what could be hundreds upon hundreds of fantastic games. I think we can all agree that support has died down quite a bit lately, and there’s still no explanation as to why certain games (Yoshi’s Island) haven’t appeared.
