Goodnight from Deux

Well kiddos, it’s time for daddy Deux to hit the hay. As my Wednesdays here at GoNintendo come to a close I can’t help but feel a little sadness. RMC really has been too good to me and the fact that he has let me stick around for this long is astounding. I feel like such a phony sometimes… a Nintendo version of Holden Caufield. My friendship with RMC is one of my life’s great treasures and I’m sure that is the only reason I’ve been allowed to Pierce Brosnan it up every Wednesday until now.

Next Wednesday will be the final Deuxsday for a while, if not for good, and I am tore up over it. Just so there are no misunderstandings I want you all to know that my other job has offered me an opportunity that I just can’t pass up, and with that comes more responsibility. The main Deux killer is my required “open availability” with them. That means I can’t get Wednesday nights off steadily anymore and therefore can’t hang out with you guys on hump day. I wouldn’t worry because RMC has got something (or someone) up his sleeve and the only thing that is going to change about the site will be better quality/quantity of posts… and less Pierce. Either way it certainly is my loss and your gain.

I will try to hit up the podcast as often as I can so that’s where you’ll hear all my unfounded gaming cynicism. Other than that, ‘keep watching the skis’ and I’ll catch you all next week!
