I continue on in my Dragon Quest VI adventure. Tonight was a rough one. I played for over 3 hours and did next to nothing. Got my ass kicked twice by a boss, and spent time re-earning things I had lost. Not exactly the most fun night with the game, but I’m going to pick it back up in a few minutes. I’m just not cut out for these RPGs…but I’m going to push on anyway! See you in a few, short hours.

If you’ve been hanging around GoNintendo for a few years, you might know some of my favorite game developers. One of those companies would happen to be Renegade Kid. From Dementium to Moon, the company has pulled off some amazing things with the DS. That’s why I’m so happy to have had multiple chances to chat with Jools Watsham, the main brain at Renegade Kid. He and his team always put a ton of work into their projects, and that’s the case yet again with ATV Wild Ride.

Jools was nice enough to send us an exclusive look at the first track in ATV Wild Ride, which is Mexico. Not only do we get to see this gorgeous game in action, we also get a run-through narration from Jools himself. He does a great job explaining what’s going on, as well as opening your eyes to some things you might not have noticed.

A huge thanks to Jools and the rest of Renegade Kid for sharing this run-through with us!

One more note - This video may be running at 30fps, but ATV Wild Ride runs at a silky-smooth 60fps.
