de Blob 2 DS - review
A portion of an IGN AU review…
It’s tightly designed, evolves nicely and is true to the style of de Blob, but it’s very easy. Case in point, I finished the game without dying once. This makes it a fantastic kids game, but I can’t help but think that with such great mechanics and core design, there’s a big opportunity missed to make something for all gamers. It’s also short, so really could have benefitted from more levels that take the mechanics to their logical conclusion. Even so, this would make a perfect introduction to platforming on DS for casual players.
