Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Ep. 2 officially underway

Well, it’s about time! SEGA’s Sonic 4 Brand Manager Ken Balough has confirmed that work on Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Ep. 2 is finally being developed. I’m thinking that the game has had a lot of preliminary work done on it up to this point, but it seems like development is full-steam ahead as of right now. No word on when the game is actually going to be available, but let’s hope we don’t have to wait until after Summer again! Thanks to Shadzter for the heads up!

- SOA and SOE are both giving feedback and input on Episode 2
- Episode 1 sold well, which means this outing may have a bigger budget
- there is a pre-determined amount of episodes
- SEGA realizes that elements of Ep. 1 could have been better, and they’re working on that for Ep. 2
- focus on bringing in zones with elements you haven’t seen before
- not a Sonic CD remake
